Cookie Policy
Effective 2026-07-02. This page lists every storage technology nexacoreos.com uses, in plain language, and explains why the notice banner you see isn't a consent request.
The short version
nexacoreos.com does not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or any cross-site identifier. Nothing on this site is used to build a profile of you or to serve you ads. The table below lists everything that does store something in your browser.
| Technology | Storage used | Purpose | Pages | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Theme preference | localStorage key nexacore-theme | Remembers your light/dark mode choice | All pages | Strictly necessary (functional) |
| Plausible Analytics (self-hosted) | None — cookieless by design | Aggregated, anonymous page-visit counts | All pages | No storage used |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Short-lived, non-tracking challenge storage set by Cloudflare | Distinguishes humans from bots on our forms, so we don't have to use a tracking-based CAPTCHA | Contribute, Careers | Strictly necessary (security) |
Why you still see this banner
Under GDPR/ePrivacy rules, a consent banner is legally required only for non-essential storage — typically advertising or cross-site tracking technologies. Every technology in the table above is either strictly necessary for the feature it supports (you can't submit a form without spam protection, and a form is a deliberate action you're taking) or doesn't store anything in your browser at all. Nothing on this site actually requires your consent to run.
We show a short notice anyway, as a transparency choice rather than a legal obligation — it's a heads-up, not a consent request, so there's no accept/reject choice: nothing described here is actually optional to disable. If we ever add a genuinely optional analytics or marketing technology, this page and the banner will be updated to reflect it, and at that point acceptance/rejection would become a real choice.
Managing storage yourself
You can clear localStorage for this site at any time through your browser's site settings; this simply resets your theme preference back to your system default. Turnstile's challenge storage is managed entirely by Cloudflare and is not accessible to this site.
